It is very important to prepare your child(ren) for the monitored visit in order to make then feel comfortable with the process. Here is a small list of suggestions that may help you prepare your child for the visit.
  • Do not tell child too far in advance of the visit.
  • Inform your child they will return to you when the visit is over.
  • Let your child know the visit will be in a fun and secure environment.
  • Inform your child the visit will be a positive experience.
